GUIDED CRAWLS  TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • General: The booking price covers the tour but does NOT include any snacks or drinks purchased in the pubs, or any tip for the guide which is entirely at your discretion.
  • Group sizes will vary from 3 up to a maximum of 12 plus the guide.
  • Timings: A fixed start time applies to all guided crawls so you must arrive at the designated meeting place in good time. If you are running more than a few minutes late, call our contact number and if possible, you will be directed to the 1st or 2nd pub on the crawl. Similarly, time at each pub on the crawl is limited to approx. 15-20 mins.
  • The guide is in charge of the route, timings and all aspects relating to managing the crawl. Please follow their instructions at all times.
  • Access: Pubs have their own licensing guidelines in relation to access for U18s so we cannot guarantee their access into pubs and would not recommend crawls for very young children. If you are over 18 but look younger, please bring photo ID in case you are asked to prove your age! Pubs also have differing levels of disabled access both in terms of entrance and access to bathroom facilities. Please contact The Great British Pub Crawl Company (hereafter referred to as GBPCC) before booking if you have concerns and we will do our best to advise you.
  • GBPCC make every effort to ensure that crawls take place in line with pub opening times and at times that are most suitable for gaining free and undisturbed access to pub facilities. GBPCC cannot be held responsible if individual pubs on the route are closed or are barring entry to the pub for any reason.
  • We expect customers who enter pubs on the crawl to purchase a drink, alcoholic or otherwise, however please don’t pressure your guide to drink alcohol as they are not allowed to do so whilst working. Individuals are responsible for drinking sensibly within the timeframe inside each pub and over the duration of the crawl.
  • Health & Safety: Individuals are responsible for their own health and safety on the crawl including in relation to negotiating footpaths, road crossings and inside pubs on the crawl. Customers requiring any additional assistance or special requirements are expected to arrange any assistance they need beforehand and to inform GBPCC prior to the crawl in order that we can advise the guide.
  • GBPCC is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your personal property during the crawl. Individuals must take the usual precautions to safeguard their own valuables.
  • Behaviour: Courtesy and mutual respect are expected at all times. If the behaviour of any customer is aggressive, threatening, abusive, offensive or in any other way causes  concern or distress to the guide, other crawl members, bar staff or the public, the guide can request that the customer amend their behaviour or ask them to leave the crawl immediately. No refunds will be made in such circumstances.
  • Crawl participants are responsible for their own behaviour and GBPCC accept no responsibility for the adverse behaviour of crawl participants. Any action taken by pubs or others in response to the behaviour of crawl participants is deemed to be taken against the individual(s) concerned and not against GBPCC. Should the behaviour of any individual result in either the individual or the group being asked to leave any pub, they will be deemed to have broken the terms of the agreement and will be asked to leave the crawl immediately, (unless there are reasonable mitigating circumstances). No refund will be provided.
  • GBPCC cannot be held responsible if enjoyment of the crawl has been adversely affected by the service, condition and facilities provided by individual pubs or the behaviour of their staff or customers. In such cases we would ask you to advise the guide and/or contact us so that we can assess each case on its merits and consider discontinuing use of the pub and any suitable redress.
  • Similarly, GBPCC cannot be held responsible if enjoyment of the crawl has been adversely affected by the behaviour of other crawl participants. In such cases we would ask you to advise the guide and/or contact us so that we can assess whether further action is appropriate.
