What previous customers have said about their Great British Pub Crawl experience: –
“Ian was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job showing us around Soho. He was even able to point out a local celebrity in the area! We had a fabulous time and hopefully all your guides are as great as Ian!” (London)

“Excellent pub crawl with tales of mystery and imagination. Excellent pub crawl with guide Joel Dean. He managed to bring the different visited pubs “alive” with interesting stories about each of them. We went through narrow streets learning something about the history and historical persons connected with them. So two hours well spent in good company. And we had a couple of beers as well, of course.” (York)

“Nice way to see the city. A nice way to kick off a trip to York: a walking tour of the city centre, taking in some of its most historic and interesting pubs. Our guide had lots of information about everywhere we went!” (York)

“Great way to get a flavour of the history of York. Cannot rate this tour highly enough! Knowledgeable but more importantly, humorous and willing to amend the itinerary as we went along. Gave us a valuable insight into the history of York and which pubs to re-visit. Such a great way to plan the rest of our stay – highly recommended. The time flew by!” (York)

The choice of pubs was very interesting – pubs of real character or with unusual features. Entertaining, high-quality content, unique and good value for money.” (London)

I attended the first of these tours in Stratford-upon-Avon. I have lived in Warwickshire all of my life so am familiar with a lot of the history, but I’d recommend the tour to both locals and tourists alike. The tour guide had a wealth of knowledge on Stratford-upon-Avon generally, but also on the history of its pubs in particular. I learned a lot about the town’s various benefactors over the years and my attention was drawn to certain items of architectural interest I’d previously not noticed. A pub crawl tour is a entertaining way to learn about a town’s history and I’ll definitely be suggesting it to any visitors I have. 10/10
I can thoroughly recommend doing a Great British Pub Crawl if you are visiting York. You’ll learn so much about the city (not just the pubs, though the two are so intertwined through history) and you’ll enjoy some great conversations in some fascinating and atmospheric pubs. Brilliant!
I was struck with how enjoyable the social element was. It’s lovely to chat informally with locals in an easy atmosphere. Charlie was really fun, friendly, full of enthusiasm and really professional.
Thank you, British Pub Crawl!
We did the York pub crawl with Charlie as our guide. He’s a really likeable and well-informed young man and he made us feel at ease from the very start. We expected the pub crawl to show us a range interesting pubs and to reveal some of York’s history, and it did not disappoint. But we were pleasantly surprised by what a nice social occasion it turned out to be. Rather than the passive experience of more typical tours, the pub crawl was more conversational and before long the whole group was chatting away like old friends. It also served as a great introduction to the city. We’ll certainly do more of these in other towns and cities.
We took the Oxford pub crawl, visited many old pubs . Very interesting guide, very knowledgeable on all the history of the pubs visited. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Oxford. Will definitely be going on other pub crawls the company organise in other cities
